MTV’s Are You The One? star Connor Smith has been arrested on multiple charges involving the alleged assault and rape of a 16-year-old girl.
According to TMZ the 31-year-old former MTV star has been charged with one count of rape and sexual battery, along with two counts of criminal confinement in Cook County, Illinois.
Documents obtained by the same publication claim that the teen – who cannot be identified for legal reasons – had been kidnapped from her room back in July when visiting family in Indiana.
The girl first claimed that she’d handed over details of her home to someone who had been selling a cat on the social media platform Snapchat.
It was that same evening, the teen claimed, that her bedroom window was ripped open and she was chucked into a truck where she was transported to a motel in Indiana.

During the journey the alleged victim claimed that Connor – who appeared in the 2015 series of Are You The One? – had forced her to perform oral sex while driving.
It is also claimed that the girl was also sexually assaulted by the TV star at the motel.
In a later interview, the unidentified girl told police that she had matched with the MTV star on a dating app and had crept out to meet him voluntary.

According to the teenager, she was then driver back to her home and further plans were made to meet up again on the following evening.
Reports claim that the girl managed to escape while her parents chased Connor off after they’d seen him in his truck.
The reality star had been identified by the teen who took part in photo line-up identity style parade after witnesses had provided police with details of his truck.

Cops believe that Connor appeared to have travelled to commit the alleged crimes from Illinois.
TMZ also reports that the arrested dating show star is now awaiting extradition back to Indiana.
Back in 2015, Connor thought he had met his match when he seemed to hit it off with co-star Chelsey Perkins.
He appeared on the love finding programme alongside Teen Mom OG star Cheyenne Floyd and The Challenge stars Nelson Thomas and Amanda Garcia.
