Musician Vince Neil rushed to hospital after falling off stage during concert

Vince Neil, 60, has been rushed to hospital after falling off stage during a concert with his solo band.

The singer was performing on Friday night at the Monster On the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with his solo band when he tumbled off the stage.

An ambulance was called immediately for the vocalist after he fell just a handful of songs into the set.

TMZ has reported that the vocalist fell four feet due to a small gap between the speaker and the stage which Vince reportedly didn’t see.

The star was visibly in pain as his crew believed that he had broken some ribs, but he was pulled up by two people as he limped away from the crowd.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors took X-rays, though results are yet to be confirmed – however, TMZ report that he is alert and should recover imminently.

The band continued performing while Vince was rushed to hospital, with guitarist Jeff Blando taking over the lead vocals while their friend sought medical treatment.

Messages of well-wishes from fans have been flooding in since the news broke on social media that the star had slipped.

Videos of his previous performances and praise for his show last night surrounded Twitter while fans wait to hear an update from Vince on his health.

Vince is yet to make any reference to how he is feeling through social media, with his last post taking place earlier this week with a photo of Universal Studios Hollywood.

He shared the snap to his Instagram and hashtagged Nashville as he attended a show, writing: “@therollingstones @nissanstadium Still rocking out after almost 60 years, better than ever! Thank you Pinnacle Financial Partners for the hospitality.”

However, when he returned to the stage to do his own show, he was sadly unable to complete the set due to the fall.

Earlier this year, concern was raised by fans after Neil struggled to complete his solo concert at the Boone Iowa River Valley Festival.

Video footage shared that the 60-year-old, who hadn’t performed in over a year and a half due to the Covid-19 pandemic, started to lose his voice just a few songs into the set.

However, it’s looking like he will be preparing to get back on the stage at least next year, with Motley Crue tour dates kicking off in June 2022.
