Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen’s daughter has opened up about dreams of creating covid vaccinations rather than staying on the farm.
Raven Owen has said that she ‘doesn’t have peace’ living with her famous family at Ravenseat and has different ambitions compared to her shepherdess mum.
The student is the eldest of nine siblings and experienced some normality before being launched into the life of fame which she has admitted before there are pros and cons.
She is currently studying at university and has more than 10,000 followers on her Instagram page.
While on the show, Raven helps her mum and dad by looking after the children when they are out on the farm.
She told The Sun : “The worst thing about being in a big family is that you don’t really have much peace.
“But, then the best thing is there’s always somebody to talk to, practice doing people’s hair.
“It’s fun when you open up someone’s drawer and you get all the clothes out and then you style outfits on all of your siblings.”
However she has revealed that the countryside life isn’t for her forever.
The show first began when Raven was in school where she hoped to study to be a vet due to growing up with animals on the farm.
However, this changed when she realised she wanted to make lifesaving vaccinations as she is studying at York St John’s.
Her mum Amanda fully supports her decision as she told The Express: “I dropped her off at university and she’s talking about doing a masters degree, and working in labs on covid vaccines.
“But that’s all down to her. Of course, as her mother, I’ll be there when she needs me, but I don’t want to take away her independence.
“They have to step up, which I don’t think is a bad thing. It makes them feel important.”
Raven recently took to social media to post a photo of her and her boyfriend enjoying a day in the caves together.
But she’s also got another career taking off as she recently modelled for the designer fashion brand Burberry.
