Peter Andre has admitted he suffered from a “mid-life crisis” in his thirties amid his marriage to former glamour model Katie Price.
The 47-year-old singer has been reflecting on his life recently as he nears 50 in a few years time, and opened up about his younger years.
“My mid-life crisis was in my thirties. I wanted all the fast cars, Ferraris and Lamborghinis,” he said.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker went on to explain that by the time he reached his 40s, he actually felt quite low.
“I remember feeling really down when I turned 40, but now I’m so much more chilled and I love life,” he told The Sun on Sunday.

“I’m in a happy place. I want to be in the best shape of my life – 50 is the new 30,” he added.
Peter first met Katie – who is now 42 – on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2004, when Katie was just 25 years old.
The couple married in September 2005 and have two children together, Junior, 15, and 13-year-old Princess.

Katie and Peter renewed their vows in September 2008, but in May the following year it was announced that they had separated after three-and-a-half years of marriage.
They were officially divorced in September of that year, and Peter has since gone on to marry Emily MacDonagh and have two more children, Amelia and Theo.
Peter proved he still cares deeply for Katie’s disabled son Harvey, whom he helped raise during his time with Katie,
He described his ex-stepson as “the best” after watching a BBC documentary about his life, titled Katie Price: Harvey and Me.
As fans discussed their thoughts on the documentary on social media, Peter wrote, “he’s the best,” alongside two heart emojis.
