Holly Willoughby was missing from This Morning for the second day this week.
The 39-year-old television star was set to return yesterday alongside Phillip Schofield after their extended Christmas break.
However, Holly was replaced by Rochelle Humes on Monday as Phil explained she was spending more time with her family.
Today, the host teased viewers as he joked Holly was on The Masked Singer.
He joked: “She’s just about to wrap up her filming commitments with the Masked Singer, so she’ll be back tomorrow.
“Badger, who’d have thought.”
The Saturdays star and presenter Rochelle fell into hysterics as she said: “You’re so naughty”.

Later in the show, Phil joked that Holly, ‘the badger’ was watching the show at home.
He then confirmed the real reason why she’s away as he added: “She’s dealing with her childcare issues at the moment and will be back tomorrow.”
Holly’s absence comes after she missed several days of This Morning during November.

At the time, her co-star Phil said she was having some “well earned days off”.
Holly last posted on her Instagram account on Christmas Day ahead of This Morning’s pre-recorded festive special.
She told her devoted fans: “Merry Christmas you beautiful lot… and yes you may be waking up today with a day in front of you that you don’t recognise as your traditional Christmas…
“I just wanted to say that I’m thinking of you and sending you so much love and light… breath deep and look up…
“Wishing you a happy and healthy Christmas…. and remember as we have been all year @thismorning is on today. It’s our first ever Christmas Day show… see you at 10am on @itv.”
