Piers Morgan and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview, which is less than 48 hours away from airing in the US is causing debate across the globe – including celebs.
Good Morning Britain stars Good Morning Britain, 55, and Alex Beresford are not exempt from being under this spell, with the pair swiping at each other on social media.
Alex responded to Piers’ controversial tweet which included a photo of Meghan Markle and Wallis Simpson, which said: “I think it’s maybe time to ban our Princes from marrying American women.”
Alex replied: “You ever stop and think maybe you should give this woman carrying a baby a break?”

But Piers hit back: “You mean like she’s giving a 94-year-old woman a break as her husband lies in hospital?”
Piers was referencing the Queen and Prince Philip, who has spent more than two weeks in hospital for an infection.
Alex’s tweet was liked more than 35,000 times, and Piers’ reply 3,000 times by fans who are weighing in on the debate.
Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview, which they announced last month, is set to ‘tell all’ with “no subjects off-limits” with the American icon.

However, some have called for the royal couple to postpone the CBS special as Prince Harry’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh continues his health battle in hospital after undergoing a heart operation.
The co-stars are privy to digs at each other on and off-air.
Last month, Good Morning Britain shared the moment where Alex is heard saying: “I’ve never actually watched Piers’ Life Stories before.”

And Alex, 40, smirked back and said: “I don’t see him that much anymore.”
Piers took to Twitter to bite back: “To be fair, I’ve never watched his weather reports.”
The cheeky jokes are also part of their banter on-air too, as earlier on in the year, Piers handed over to his colleague – but made sure to add in a joke beforehand.
He said: “Here’s Alex who is by far from being the greatest weatherman of all time.”

Meghan and Harry’s sit down with Oprah is to be aired in the UK on Monday on ITV, after the broadcaster won a bidding war to air the show.
CBS has released dramatic teasers before the airing in the US on Sunday, where Meghan has spoken about ‘falsehoods’ and Harry speaks out about working on ensuring “history doesn’t repeat itself” in terms of his late mother Princess Diana and wife, the Duchess of Sussex.
