Piers Morgan has branded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “shameless grifters” in an explosive tweet about the former royals.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, desperately urged The Queen to strip the pair of their royal titles after learning they agreed to do a 90-minute tell-all interview with Oprah next month.
Rushing to Twitter, outspoken Piers couldn’t hold back as he slammed Harry and pregnant Meghan over their decision.
“Take away all their titles, Your Majesty,” he wrote. “The British people are totally behind you against these shameless grifters.”
News of Harry and Meghan’s CBS special interview came to light on Monday as the network announced the programme will air on March 7, titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special.

The network said Oprah spoke with Meghan on “a wide-ranging interview covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood (and) philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure”.
The pair will later be joined “by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family”.
However their decision to be interviewed on American soil has reportedly angered royals back home, with The Queen now looking to strip the pair of their titles, it’s been claimed.

Her Majesty s now reportedly set to ask the couple – who are currently expecting their second child – to give up any links with organisations passed down through the Royal Family, according to the Daily Mail.
The Daily Star has approached a Buckingham Palace press officer and a representative of the Sussexes for comment.
The Duke of Sussex is supposedly set to lose his remaining military titles – Captain General of the Royal Marines, Honorary Air Force Commandant of the Royal Air Force Bas Honington, and honorary Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Navy’s Small Ships and Diving Operations.

A decision on the titles was originally set to be made in the coming months – during the long-awaited Megxit review that will see the Sussexes future role officially set out.
Harry may also lose his patronages with the Rugby Football Union, Rugby Football League and the London Marathon in the move, it is claimed.
However, he will be allowed to keep private patronages, including the Invictus Games and WellChild.
Meghan would reportedly have to step down as patron of the National Theatre.
