Piers Morgan has branded US TV presenter Sheryl Underwood a “shameless fraud”.
Outspoken broadcaster Piers, 56, is never shy of giving his opinion – and his latest personal outburst went straight for the jugular.
The Talk presenter and comedian Sheryl, 68, called out Piers’ pal Sharon Osbourne for being “racially insensitive” after she defended him for his controversial comments about Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex.
Piers subsequently quit Good Morning Britain and Sharon famously left The Talk after her on-air spat with Sheryl.
And Piers was quick to stick the knife in when Sheryl appeared in a short video to promote the return of The Talk, after producers pulled it temporarily because of the all the controversy.
He has already called for the presenter to get the sack following the highly-publicised Meghan fallout.
“It’s time for an episode of The Talk unlike any that we’ve had before,” revealed Sheryl in the teaser video.
“We haven’t been together in the studio since the week of March 10th and as you know, during our break Sharon decided to leave The Talk.
“We need to process the events of that day so we can get to the healing. Over the next hour, we will honestly discuss what occurred and explore some of our feelings.
“And we’ll also show you how anyone can become more comfortable discussing important issues and conversations.
“By the end of the hour, we want everyone to feel empowered and ready to move forward. So, let’s starting talking.”
But Piers slammed Sheryl’s explanation and blasted to his 7.9million Twitter followers: “What a shameless fraud,” accompanied by a vomiting emoji for good measure.
And the controversial former GMB host wasn’t finished there as he retweeted an interview Sheryl had done claiming she is suffering from PTSD after her on-air spat with her former co-star Sharon.
“Oh what a crock of sh*t,” retorted Piers.
Former X Factor judge Sharon was one of the first celebrities to defend her friend Piers for his comments about Meghan.
And in her last show before quitting, the 68-year-old vehemently defended her stance on having Piers’ back during his time of turmoil.

“Why is it that because I supported a long-time friend and work colleague for years, people go ‘well you must be racist because he’s racist’,” stressed Sharon.
“No. I support his freedom of speech. I’m not racist and neither is Piers racist. What have I ever said about anybody that’s racist? It’s not within me. It’s not in my soul.”
