Piers Morgan was once again firing on all cylinders after the announcement landed to confirm Meghan Markle would be releasing a new publication about father and child relationships.
The former Good Morning Britain star explained that he literally “laughed out loud” after hearing the news that the Duchess of Sussex would be writing the “World’s Most Ludicrously Inappropriate Book”.
He certainly took harsh aim at Meghan as he brandied her as a “cynical disingenuous manipulator” in his lengthy rant.
The ex-anchorman seemed to have unfinished business with Meghan, who had previously filed a personal complaint against him to the CEO of ITV after saying he didn’t believe her in the interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In his latest memoir, written for the Daily Mail, it is clear that their bad blood is far from over as he publicly mocked the Duchess.
Piers came across angry as he challenged the former Suits star for even contemplating unveiling a book about father and child relationships – on the grounds she doesn’t even speak with her own dad.
He penned: “Lest we forget, Ms Markle has ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas and refuses to have anything to do with him despite the fact they now live just 70 miles from each other.”
Piers turned his rage to Prince Harry calling him a “spoilt brat teenager” for running down his dad Prince Charles in the same bombshell interview, just weeks before his own father Prince Philip later died.
The Life Stories host explained it was “ridiculous” that Meghan could even be considering distributing such advise to anyone “given her track record”.
Alluding that Meghan isn’t being truthful again, Piers went on: “THE truth, that is, not HER truth that usually turns out to be of the Princess Pinocchio veracity.
“And THE truth is that she’s a cynical disingenuous manipulator intent on wrecking the Royal Family’s image around the world with her shameless, shameful, money-grabbing victim-playing antics, and dragging her hapless husband along for the ride.”
Meghan lodged a personal grievance with ITV after Piers had said he didn’t believe her on GMB.
Piers was asked to apologise by chiefs but instead decided to remain defiant that he’d used freedom of speech to vocalise his opinion and would not say sorry for the matter.
As a result, Piers later handed in his notice on the day time favourite.
