Queen Elizabeth II has savagely called Price Charles a “loser” in a recently shared The Prince clip.
The HBO Max show depicts a cartoon version of the English monarchy through the eyes of a highly exaggerated Prince George and the rest of his Royal Family.
Having previously portrayed a horny HRH and pampered Prince William, the series has now come for the Prince of Wales and future King of England himself.
Posting to Instagram on Tuesday, The Prince creator and voice actor Gary Janetti shared an eight-second video of a scene which sees the Queen hilariously call her son a “loser”.
The incident occurs as Charles, voiced by Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens, plays croquet in the palace grounds.
Janetti captioned the post: “Charles and Mother.”
The clip sees 72-year-old Charles playing croquet and calling out to his mother, who is reading a newspaper, to watch him as he does.
“Mummy,” Charles says in the clip.
“Watch me. Watch me. Are you watching?”
After failing to pass his ball through the hoop, the disappointed prince adds: “At least she didn’t see.”
A twist is in store as the Queen cuttingly replies: “I saw. Loser.”
Also featured in the brief clip are Kate Middleton, Camilla Parker Bowles and the late Prince Phillip.
The Prince has yet to find a UK broadcaster.
Alongside Janetti and Stevens, the series also stars Game of Thrones actors Sophie Turner and Iwan Rheon, as well as Orlando Bloom and Alan Cumming.
Speaking previously, Janetti revealed that he had heard Prince Harry’s opinion on the series from Orlando Bloom.
He told Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: “He seemed to have a sense of humour about it.”
The Prince airs on HBO Max in the US.
