Rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie 'arrested at Wireless Festival' and performance cancelled

US rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was arrested at Wireless Festival on Saturday, forcing organisers to cancel his performance.

The hip hop star, real name is Julius Dubose, was scheduled to perform at the London festival at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday afternoon, but had to be taken off the bill.

Organisers posted a message, saying: “There has been an incident involving A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. He is safe and we are working to change his set to sometime tomorrow.”

The 25-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday morning to shed more light on the matter.

He wrote: “Smh sorry to everyone who came out to see me at Wireless, London police locked me up before I went on stage for something I was accused of 2 years ago.
