X Factor star Talia Dean says she spoke to the late Sarah Harding 48 hours before her tragic death.
The Girls Aloud singer passed away on Sunday aged 39 followed a battle with breast cancer that had spread to her spine.
Sarah’s heartbreaking death was confirmed on her official Instagram page by her beloved mum, Marie Hardman, who described the singer as her “beautiful daughter”.
The pop star had fought her cancer until the end, passing away one year after first sharing her devastating news with her doting fans.
Singer-songwriter Talia logged into her Instagram page on Sunday to pay a heartfelt tribute to Sarah.
She wrote: “My dear friend, Slipped out the door without a goodbye. My heart is broken.
“We only spoke Friday, How is this possible. Sending love to her wonderful doting mum Marie, and all the Hardcore fans.
“You really supported her when she needed you.
“I [heart emoji] you Saz , you did not deserve this! No more pain my darling, fly high angel.”
Unsurprisingly, Tali’s followers flooded the comment section beneath the photograph with messages of support.
One fan penned: “So sorry for your loss!”
Another added: “So sad, sending so much love to you babes and Sarah’s family.”
A third person posted: “So sorry baby thinking of you. I know you must be going thru it right now.”
While a fourth social media user said: “I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t get my head around it.”
Talia made it through to the live shows of the ITV signing competition The X Factor in 2017.
However, she got voted out of the competition during the second week of the finals.
In a statement posted on Sarah’s Instagram page on Sunday afternoon, her mum Marie said her death after a battle with breast cancer had caused “deep heartbreak.”
