Ant McPartlin left Saturday Night Takeaway viewers giggling during tonight’s episode as he banged his head during the ‘happiest minute of the week’.
The 45-year-old was in the middle of the show segment which sees an array of viewers at home win a holiday.
It starts with Ant and Dec sliding down a huge pink inflatable slide into the studio, but McPartlin didn’t consider the ceiling when he stood up straight.
Dec Donnelly slid down the slide first, before Ant stood up and said: “The happiest minute of the week…ow!
“I just banged me head!”
Luckily the presenter didn’t injure himself badly and brushed off the minor incident before sliding down the huge pink slide.

Viewers went into hysterics after watching Ant’s blunder, as one said: “Howling at Ant smacking his head”.
While another wrote: “I shouldn’t laugh at Ant banging his head”.
A third added: “Omg @antanddec yes, I did have to rewind the TV several times to watch Ant bang his head as he slid down the blow-up slide! So so funny”.
“My mum: ‘One of them is going to hurt themselves on that’

“Ant : *smacks head on the ceiling*”, remarked a fourth with three laughing emojis.
Earlier in the show, Ant and Dec were forced to apologise after Gordon Ramsay suffered a blunder and swore live on air.
The TV chef, who is known for his fiery outbursts, was warned by the Geordie duo about his bad language at the start of the episode.
However, the TV personality turned the air blue quite quickly during a game of “Read My Lips” with a viewer.

The international restaurateur accidentally said “p****d” when trying to guess what a viewer was saying.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Did Gordon just say “p****d”?
A second person posted: “Please don’t swear Gordon, first word he guesses p****d”
While a third wrote: “Did Gordon Ramsey just say “p****d right after Ant and Dec had done a whole sketch about investing in a bleep machine.”
Gordon had to guess what viewers at home were mouthing when he couldn’t hear them.
But at one point it sounded like he swore, and Ant was forced to apologise on his behalf.
The presenter said: “We have to apologise for your language there.”
Gordon was baffled and immediately said: “What did I say?”
Ant replied: “It may have sounded like a swear word.”
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
