Singer Kim Wilde says she saw 'incredible' UFO while standing in her garden

Pop star Kim Wilde has described the moment she saw UFOs while standing in her garden.

The Kids in America singer revealed she saw an “astonishing” sphere in the sky which moved quickly before being joined by a smaller one.

She said the sphere was “static and silent” and described the lights as “incredible”.

The stunning 60-year-old admitted to Reader’s Digest that it “thrills” her to think about all the energy that exists in space.

The singer has sold more than 10million albums and 20m singles.

She also holds the record for being the most-charted British female solo act of the 1980s, with 17 UK Top 40 hit singles.

In 1998, while still working in music, she explored an alternative career as a landscape gardener, which lead to her presenting gardening shows on the BBC and Channel 4.

Last month, the singer appeared on This Morning to celebrate 40 years of her hit track Kids In America.

On Loose Women, Kim spoke about UFOs previously in 2018 saying: “They have been keeping an eye on us for a long time”

Wilde said: “It was in 2009. I was in our garden with my husband and a friend.

“Helicopters and a bright light came towards us. Maybe they were after someone. But then they left.

“The light remained behind a cloud in the sky and everyone thought I’d been on the pinot grigio.

‘I’d been in A&E [for an undisclosed reason], all night but that’s a long story…”

Loose Women host Coleen Nolan listened as the 80s icon continued: “I was looking up and it moved from 11 o’clock to 2 o’clock and again and again, then a smaller one joined it.

“My husband went running in to find something to film it, but I felt compelled to watch it. It inspired me. It was a UFO, I can’t believe I saw it.”
