Stacey Solomon denies claims she's 'secretly given birth' after Instagram pic

Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon has set the record straight regarding her pregnancy after some fans believed she had already given birth as they claimed she didn’t “look pregnant” in a recent post.

The 31-year-old, who is an avid Instagram user, stopped providing her followers with updates on her platform for almost two days, but broke her silence on Saturday to show her support to the victims of 9/11.

She then returned to the social media platform on Sunday to share snaps of fans who have bombarded her with messages regarding her pregnancy and whether she had already given birth.

Taking to Instagram stories, Stacey posed happily for the mirror selfie and wore a lose fitted top that showcased a small bump.

She captioned the snap: “Going to take the boys for a long walk today, cook a roast and may even treat myself to a little craft half hour if I get the chance…

“I have a long day tomorrow so making the most of this Sunday feeling”

But the star then made sure she addressed the rumours with her next post.

She added: “I promise I haven’t secretly had the baby and just casually come on here like nothing happened.

“I’ll let you know when I go into labour. It’s just this top. A few more weeks left hopefully.”

A few months ago, Stacey confessed that she initially felt apprehensive to share her pregnancy news with her supporters after trying for a long period of time to conceive and suffering with “a few” unfortunate miscarriages.

But the reality star was filled with joy when she discovered that she and her partner Joe Swash were expecting their first daughter together.

Sharing her happy news with her followers online, the expectant mum said: “I don’t think having it out there was ever a worry, but I was in denial.

“You never know, it might not happen, it might not happen..

“We wanted to wait until a point when if it was happening, it was actually happening hopefully.”

She continued: “Sometimes it’s nice to share everything so everyone is involved in the experience, whether it’s good or bad.

“Sometimes it’s nice to just fester in a cave and stay safe and stay in.

“I’m so excited, honestly.”
