This Morning have announced that Tilly Ramsay will be officially joining the cast of Strictly Come Dancing 2021.
The star who is most known to fans for her TikTok videos and being the daughter of chef Gordan Ramsay said she is “excited” to be joining this year’s line-up.
Breaking the exclusive news on Wednesday morning’s programme, presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford gave viewers clues before making the announcement.
Ruth said: “It’s so exciting because we have to keep the news to ourselves for so long.”
Appearing on This Morning Tilly talked about her previous dancing experience and said her dad Gordan is always up for dancing but unfortunately he’s not her coach.
When asked what she is looking forward to the most and what terrifies her, Tilly said: “I think remembering the chorography terrifies me and I’m looking forward to the glitz and glamour that’s what I’m looking forward to.”
Elsewhere on the show Gordan also gave a message to his daughter and told her not to date any of her co-stars while she’s on the BBC dancing programme.
Strictly show bosses have been releasing the names of the stars that are set to appear on the show this autumn gradually on various TV shows.
The celebs that have already been confirmed so far are Dragons’ Den’s Sara Davies, CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson, John Whaite, Tom Fletcher, Robert Webb and presenter AJ Ododu.
Yesterday BBC Breakfast also announced that their very own Dan Walker will be joining the line up.
While appearing via a video link from a secret holiday location, Dan surprised his co-star Louise Minchin by revealing he’s the eighth celebrity to join the BBC dancing competition.
Once Louise discovered the that it was her colleague Dan that would appear on the show, she said: I don’t believe it, Mr Walker.”
She continued: “What i’m really annoyed about is that nobody has told me anything.
“I should have guessed as you’ve been away and not here.”
The news of the latest line-up comes after BBC announced that Anton Du Beke will continue his role on the judging panel after Bruno Toniolo was unable to return for the series.
Bruno who is also a judge on the American version of the show, found it difficult to fly back and fourth from the US to the UK, due to travel restrictions.
Talking to to PA news, Bruno said: “Blame the travel insanity. It is like anyone. It is impossible to schedule. But the show is going to be fantastic regardless.”
