Strictly star AJ Odudu plans to celebrate her success on the show with a Sunday roast and a trip to Blackburn.
The presenter, 33, was born in the Lancashire town and plans to go there as soon as the dance contest is over.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I don’t want Strictly to end so I’ve been filling my diary with things that will make me happy when it does.
“After the series, I’m going to go home to Blackburn and spend time with my family.
“I want to have a roast dinner as well. We’ll have loads of red wine.”
AJ wants to stay close to home for the foreseeable future.
The star has no plans to quit Britain despite getting a string of big-money offers that could take her to the US.
She said: “There have been offers to do things, which is brilliant. But I am so focussed on Strictly, so I haven’t really been thinking about the next steps in my career.
“When I was a girl I wanted to be a TV presenter. But I didn’t really think about cracking America or anything like that. I’m a bit of a hometown girl.”
AJ is one of four celebs still in the running for this year’s Glitterball.
And she’s already worked out where it would go if she won.
She said: |I’d put the trophy in my living room. Get it on the mantelpiece underneath the telly.
“I wouldn’t put it on the toilet. I know that’s a thing people love to do, but I wouldn’t.”
Even if AJ is voted out in tonight’s results show, she already feels like a winner.
She added: “I definitely feel empowered by the show. I feel completely liberated.
“I’ve been able to show different sides of my personality and be my unapologetic self.”
And she blew the judges away with her incredible performance on Saturday night, despite being in the dance-off during quarter-finals week.
The tense competition eventually saw BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker eliminated, while AJ and Kai went through to the next round.
