The Chase fans floored as solo celeb thrashes Chaser Paul Sinha in show first

The Chase fans went into meltdown as comedian Andi Osho thrashed quizzing expert Paul Sinha by herself in the nail-biting show final.

Sunday’s repeated episode from 2018 saw Jane Moore, Alex Beresford, Mark Ramprakash and Andi Osho take part in a bid to win mega money for charity.

Comedian Andi was the last contestant standing as Paul, known on the show as The Sinnerman, managed to catch Jane, Alex and Mark.

Andi achieved an impressive 16 step lead ahead of Paul in the final chase and was playing for £7,000 for charity.

During Paul’s round, he suffered several wrong answers which gave Andi the opportunity to push-back.

It all came down to the final few nail-biting seconds as Paul got a question wrong when the timer had just one second remaining.

The question was: “The ski resort of Saint Moritz is in which country?”

Andi answered Switzerland which was the correct answer and her knowledge resulted in her winning the competition.

Viewers went into meltdown on social media, showering the comedian with congratulatory messages.

One said: “Andi Osho was absolutely amazing”.

While another wrote: “I’m crying at The Chase. YES ANDI”.

A third added: “She smashed that”.

“Andi Osho was absolutely amazing”, gushed another.

Earlier in the episode, Bradley was left stunned as Andi revealed they had worked together before, but he didn’t remember.

Bradley had asked the media star: “Now, comedian, actor, writer. Didn’t you work behind the cameras producing or editing or something?”

Andi smirked as she replied: “Not only did I work behind the cameras, I worked behind the cameras on a show that you were in.”

“And you have forgotten me. Thanks very much…”, she teased.

Andi continued: “Do you remember a little soap opera called Night and Day?”

She then explained: “I was the post-production supervisor.”

Bradley exclaimed: “You were not! Shane Richie and I played brothers, the Dexter brothers. That’s amazing.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
