Daisy May Cooper, better known for her BBC role on This Country, has broke it off with her husband after two years of marriage.
It has been reported that the 34-year-old had become “tired” of married life caused by lockdown pressures.
According to sources Daisy has already ditched her wedding ring and is actively telling people “their marriage is over”.
She is believed to have called it a day with the landscape gardener just 10 months after giving birth to their second child.
The informant told The Sun: “Daisy said she had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will.
“They ended things for good earlier this year.
“She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over.
“She has also removed Will as a director on her media business.
“It’s been a tough 17 months for everyone and Daisy and Will were no exception.”
The pair, who married in September 2019 and have two children, daughter Pip, two, and a son, Jack, born last October, will still continue to work together as co-parents.
“She is trying to move on with the support of her family and friends and is putting a brave face on the split.
“They are both devoted parents to their kids,” added the source.
The news comes after the recent announcement that the Bafta Award winner would be joining Sky’s remake of Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
She will be joining the line up as a team captain – alongside taskmaster Greg Davies as host.
Taking to Instagram Daisy shared her happy news with followers, she said: “Guess who’s being team captain sl**z… bring it on @noel_fielding.”
Excitement flooded in the comments section, with BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo penning: “F**k yes!! Missed this show, you’re gonna be perfect!”
