Josie Gibson approached 2020 with a goal in mind, vowing to improve her fitness and feel better in herself.
Now, the This Morning presenter has revealed she’s lost over a stone, having embraced a healthy new lifestyle and changed her approach to exercise.
Josie, 36, set about revamping her lifestyle when she realised she struggled to keep up with her young son Reggie, who was able to outrun her.
Losing weight healthily and mindfully, she joined WW [formerly known as Weight Watchers] and transformed her attitude to nutrition and exercise.
Speaking to OK! magazine this week, the ITV star admitted she “fell off the wagon a few times” but she still stuck to her goals.
“So I’ve lost over a stone now and I just enjoy it, I’m enjoying cooking healthy and enjoying – we all go out to this virtual walk, Walk to Wellness, and there’s a lovely community.
“I speak to all these lovely WW members and I’m friends with all the ambassadors and it’s a really nice place to be.”
Josie is prioritising fitness going forward, though the presenter admitted she has no interest in losing too much weight.
She said: “I would like to be a size 12/14. I don’t wanna be really skinny because I can’t, it’ll kill me to get there and, say, a large 12 and be fit.
“I would love to start running, everyone’s got this running buzz! I’m gonna do the listening thing, do you know when you listen while you run?”
The former Big Brother star added it was a delight to fit into her favourite old pair of jeans, noticing the changes taking place in her body.
Josie’s revamped lifestyle comes after she fought back against cruel body-shaming trolls on social media, taking a stand against online bullying.
When a troll took to Twitter to send the This Morning presenter a nasty remark about her weight last October, Josie wasted no time in putting them in their place.

Sharing the original message, which accused her of gaining weight, Josie wrote: “But you are being rude, so you do mean to be rude.
“Don’t let my weight gain break your heart, honestly there is so many more things in the world to care about that really do matter.”
After witnessing Josie’s response, her fans rallied around her, thanking the media star for fighting back against cyberbullying.
