TOWIE's Jess Wright hints at Masked Singer stint as she says 'never say never'

Jess Wright dropped a subtle hint about The Masked Singer as she said “never say never” when asked about taking part in the ITV show.

The 35-year-old reality star, who first found fame on The Only Way Is Essex, is hosting a virtual talent contest to find the UK’s best amateur singer with PlayOJO.

The online casino’s competition, in celebration of its partnership with The Masked Singer producers Bandicoot TV, aims to find the UK’s best amateur star.

Several fans of ITV’s The Masked Singer have suggested the TOWIE star and singer could be part of this year’s secret line-up.

When asked about the speculation and whether she’d ever take part in the iconic show, Jess told Daily Star exclusively: “Never say never!

“I’m a huge fan of the show, so who knows! I’m not sure how they all perform in their costumes though, it must get so hot on stage.

“Hints wise, I’m afraid I know as much as you. They’re all incredibly talented, whoever they are.”

Jess revealed that they’re encouraging people to come to the live stream head-to-toe in fancy dress as she told Daily Star “everyone needs some fun in their life right now”.

Speaking about fronting the brand new virtual talent show with PlayOJO, Jess said: “In all honesty, I absolutely love any excuse to warm up the vocal cords, get my mic out and sing away, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to blast the dust off the mic.”

Jess used to be in a girl band and recently took part in the Celebrity Karaoke Club.

The lucky winner of the virtual talent competition will get to perform a duet with Jess.

Jess starred in The Only Way Is Essex as one of the original stars from 2010 until 2016, but has admitted she probably won’t return to the show.

When asked if she would ever make her TOWIE comeback, the brunette bombshell confessed she didn’t think she would.

She said: “At this point, I don’t think so because I have lots more I want to do and also a lot of my friends from the show are not on it either, but I will always love that show!”

Jess Wright will host PlayOJO’s virtual singing contest on Thursday 11th February.
