TV golden girl Amanda Holden to 'make history' as she 'signs Channel 4 deal'

Amanda Holden is set to become a fixture on yet another broadcasting network after reportedly being snapped up by Channel 4 for a new top secret show.

It would make the much-loved star the first person to work across the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge has recently been appearing on the BBC for new show I Can See Your Voice, which has quickly become a huge hit with BBC viewers.

Amanda appears alongside host Paddy McGuinness as well as Jimmy Carr and Alison Hammond, making up the panel of so-called celebrity investigators trying to figure out who can and can’t sing.

And following on from the popularity of her latest venture, Amanda has reportedly signed a deal with Channel 4 for an exciting new format.

It comes after she reportedly refused to sign a “golden handcuffs” deal which would mean she would only be tied to one broadcaster.

A source close to the Heart Radio presenter explained how the new show would be set to take the star back to her “TV roots”.

They told The Sun: “Everyone wants a piece of Amanda right now.

“She’s become the golden girl of TV and radio over the last 12 months.

“Amanda has never wanted a handcuffs deal from any one TV channel and it’s paid off because she’s going to be the first person to work across all three major UK channels.”

It’s not yet known what format the new series will take, but a photo of Amanda looking glamorous behind-the-scenes of the show was shared yesterday by MailOnline.
