Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8

Speaking about the charity of the event that was cancelled soon after the Queen passed away, Laura said: “The WellChild Awards celebrate the inspirational qualities of the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives.

I want to congratulate everyone who won and wasn’t able to collect their award. It is always an emotional evening, but on Thursday it was an emotional evening for a very different reason.”
