Fans of Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow were left disappointed on Sunday night (December 18) after it was dropped from ITV’s schedule unexpectedly.
Viewers who tuned in to watch presenter Alan shed light on a gameshow from the past were displeased when ITV’s FIFA World Cup final coverage overran and was followed by the news right after.
But due to their being no announcement regarding the change prior many were left confused.

Heading over to Twitter, unhappy fans shared their honest opinions on the schedule shakeup.
One annoyed viewer said: “F*****g knew it, they’ve took #EpicGameshow off tonight now. C*****g football.”
Another penned: “Not being funny now #itv but the match is over. Put #EpicGameshow on.”
While a third added: “No #EpicGameshow tonight. Replaced with news and best finals of Tipping Point.”
To replace Epic Gameshow, ITV aired the national news and weather at 7:15pm.
This was then followed by Tipping Point’s Best Ever Finals which took the 7:30pm slot.
But although Tipping Point gave fans their gameshow fix, some were still not impressed with the change.
As one viewer took to Twitter to write: “Hey @ITV why are you showing @TippingPointITV best ever finals? It’s a repeat essentially”
Alan’s Gameshow would have been a Celebrity Christmas special of Child’s Play.
According to reports, Judi Love, Joe Swash, David James and Samia Longchambon were scheduled to play the game in hopes of winning big for their chosen charities.
The news comes after Argentina were crowned the World Cup champions after beating France on penalties.
Following the game, Argentina’s captain Lionel Messi has been talk of the town as many fans labelled him one of the greatest footballers of all time.
But despite the positivity, BBC’s sports presenter Gary Lineker was annoyed that Messi wore a black robe given to him by the Emir of Qatar during his victory.
Gary said: “Amazing scenes, great pictures from above and great pictures from inside the ground as Argentina win the World Cup for the third time.
“It seems a shame, in a way, that they’ve covered up Messi in his Argentina shirt,” he added.
