Paint perfection
Laying in a colourful pool completely bare with nothing but paint covering her quickly became one of Ariana’s most iconic looks.
In her God is A Woman music video, the star had her body painted by Alexa Meade in shades of pink and purple.
The song, which is about female empowerment, showed various snippets of the singer lying in a pool with the same colours swirling around her.
Matching the paint, Ariana had swipes of the same colours on her side, face, legs and covering her breasts.
The artist behind the bodypaint revealed that the inspiration for the look came from American artist Georgia O’Keefe.
It’s reported that Ariana really liked the subtle purple and periwinkle shades in the painting Grey Lines with Black, Blue and Yellow.
Met Gala glam
