Former TOWIE star Cara Kilbey has shared the sweet moment Andy Carroll and Billi Mucklow took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
The former Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham striker married his long-term partner over the weekend in a five-star Hampshire ceremony.
Cara, who has remained close friends with Billi 10 years after they both appeared on the ITV reality show, gave her 318k Instagram followers a glimpse into the plush day.
The newlyweds looked loved up as they danced on a floor surrounded by low fog in front of a singer on the stage.
Behind the singer was a pink neon sign that read “The Carroll’s” as two chandeliers hung above Andy and Billi.
Cara also walked around the reception area filled with round tables which featured huge tree centre pieces blooming with vibrant coloured roses.
In two other Instagram snaps, Cara posted a snap with her own Daniel Harris before standing with her long-term friend Billi who called her a “Beautiful bride”
It wasn’t long before the 34-year-old was inundated with comments complimenting them both along with congratulating the new bride.
One person said: “You both look gorgeous, congratulations Billi”
With another adding: “Wow what a beautiful dress”
Someone else commented: “You look beautiful Bil. Congratulations xxx”
While a fourth fan said: “Absolutely gorgeous girls”
The Daily Mail reports that the all white themed wedding had bottles of champagne worth £100 lined up for their guests with roughly 200 people attending.
Among those on the guestlist were their three children Arlo, six, Wolf, four, and 21-month-old daughter Marvel Mae along with Andy’s two children from a previous relationship, Emilie Rose and Lucas.
The couple got engaged back in 2014 but officially tied the knot at the five-star Four Seasons Hotel on June 5.
Although the guests were taken slightly aback when the registrar asked an awkward question during the ceremony.
A few days before the wedding, Carroll had been snapped in a bed with two blonde girls passed out during his Dubai stag do which threw the wedding into doubt.
Despite the ordeal, the couple went ahead with the wedding and when the room was asked if they knew of any reason they should not be married everyone saw the funny side.
An onlooker told The Sun: “They were emotional when they saw each other, but the atmosphere totally changed when the registrar asked if anyone present knew why they should not be married. Everyone started laughing really loud and Billi and Andy joined in.
“It broke the ice in what’s been a hard build up to the wedding for Billi. It changed the tone and when they were announced man and wife, the cheers were deafening.”
