The Chase host Bradley Walsh left a player red faced after he’d landed a cheeky remark about the size of his “massive” manhood.
During the exchange, contestant Jennifer explained that one of her hobbies had been to paint people in the buff.
Jennifer who had retired from nursing was quizzed by Brad, he asked: “Ok and what do you do, now that you are retired?”
She said: “I do a bit of painting,” before the TV star interjected with: “Drinking mainly.”
He then prompted: “So you do a bit of painting. Of what precisely?”
“I do some life drawing classes,” replied the former nurse.
“I beg your pardon,” chimed Brad.
Jennifer barked: “I paint naked people.”
“Ok, if you had the chance to paint somebody in the nude, who would it be?” asked the host.
Without hesitation, Jennifer responded “You.”
Caught off guard by her comment Brad began to laugh as he joked: “You’ll need a massive canvas love i’m telling you.”
The entire ITV set – including Chaser Paul Sinha – began to fall about the place laughing.
Earlier on in the programme fans were left unhappy after one player had seemingly answered two questions correctly in the cash builder but both points were denied by Bradley.
One question “What fruit is used to make oil?”, seemed to cause a lot of controversy among fans.
Jamie answered “olive oil” which was shut down by the host who said: “Wrong the answer is olive.”
The solicitors luck was cut short at the end of the round when he answered the final question correctly but Brad informed Jamie that he was just out of time.
Despite being hard on luck he did manage to bag £4,000 in the initial first round but viewers at home moaned his answers had been marked too harshly.
Taking to Twitter, many online viewers defended Jamie, one person said: “Oh that was mean #TheChase.”
A second tweet read: “Out of time because you read the questions so bloody slow! #TheChase.”
Another moaned: ‘Olive oil,’ ‘wrong the answer is olive’ #thechase.”
While a fourth person demanded: “Should’ve been given the olive oil point and he wasn’t out of time for the last answer… unfair #TheChase”
In spite of the shaky start, Jamie did play Paul Sinha for £4,000 and managed to secure a place in the final – but the team of three were no match for the mighty chaser and left the programme empty handed.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
