Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander jailed for crashing wedding to Sam Asghari

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander has been sentenced to 128 days in jail for attempting to crash her wedding.

Alexander, 40, was found guilty of aggravated trespassing and battery by a judge in Ventura County, California.

A no contact protective order has also been granted to Spears, 40, and her security guard Richard Eubeler, US Weekly reports.

The sentencing followed Alexander pleading no contest to the charges after initially pleading not guilty to charges which also included vandalism, refusing to leave private property and a felony stalking count.

Following his no-contest plea, the other charges against him were dismissed.

Alexander has now been ordered to serve 128 days in Ventura County Jail.

He was initially arrested in June after live-streaming himself forcing entry to Spears’ home on the day of her wedding to Sam Asghari.

The live-stream footage also appeared to show Alexander trying to access the Crossroads star’s nuptials.

Alexander said in the video: “Britney Spears invited me here.

“She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband, I’m here to crash the wedding.

“I’m here to crash the wedding cause nobody [is] here but Sam.”

A childhood friend of the Toxic singer, Alexander and Spears were famously married for 55 hours before their annulment in 2004.

Spears and her third husband Ashgari, 28, tied the knot in June at the star’s home in California.

The intimate ceremony was attended by a number of the couple’s celebrity pals including Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.

Speaking at a preliminary hearing in June, security guard Eubeler said Alexander gained access to the second floor of his ex-wife’s property and tried to open her bedroom door – which was locked – multiple times.

He also claimed Spears had been unaware of Alexander’s presence at the time of the incident.
