Celebrity trainer Eric Fleishman has sadly passed away at the age of 53, a statement has confirmed.
Eric, who became known to fans as Eric The Trainer, died unexpectedly at his home in Glendale, California, last week Thursday on the morning of Thanksgiving.
The cause of the fitness instructor’s death has not yet been announced.

A statement that was released on his official Instagram account read: “We are heartbroken to share that Eric Phillip Fleishman passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 24, 2022.
“His wife Alysia, son, parents, and close friends/family are deeply saddened by this event. Eric touched many lives for the better. He was a beacon of light, hope, and love.
“Eric’s family welcomes the community to join them in celebrating his life by sharing experiences, memories, and tributes to Celebrate.Erics.Life@gmail.com.£
The statement concluded: “This loss is devastating, and we appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
Seeing the devastating news on their screens, fans rushed to the comment section to share their condolences.
One person wrote: “Such terrible news. He brought so much positivity to everyone. Rip.”
Another penned: “I’m shocked and saddened to learn that we’ve lost such a positive and friendly force in fitness…”
And a third heartbroken follower echoed: “Deeply saddened and heartbroken by this news, Eric was a beautiful man who was a beacon of light on this earth. A friend and motivator of happiness. I’ll never forget that smile and those big bear hugs. Love you Eric.”
Eric worked with a string of well known faces including Kirstie Alley, Jason Priestley, Patrick Schwarzenegger and many more.

In addition to this, he was also known to help music stars such as Def Leppard, Journey, Fall Out Boy reach their fitness goals.
Last week, Eric visited the Cayman Islands, where he was seen at fitness facility, The Club at Cricket Square.
Appearing fit and healthy, Eric jumped onto Instagram and said: “We’ve arrived in Grand Cayman @theclubcricketsquare and @coachtimheath has welcomed us with open arms and BIG biceps.”
In his last post on social media, Eric could be seen relaxing in a circular hanging chair. He captioned the snap: “Loving the relaxing vibes of ISLAND LIFE.”
Eric is survived by his wife Alysia and their son Henry.
