Celebs Go Dating's Anna Williamson says 'door is open' for 'fantastic' Katie Price

Celebs Go Dating star Anna Williamson has revealed the “door is open” for unlucky in love TV star Katie Price to appear as a contestant on the show.

The former glamour model who has been engaged eight times and married three times was rumoured to have snubbed a £250,000 fee to join the show after her recent split from fiancé Carl Woods.

Anna said: “Katie also would have been a fantastic addition, but the good thing about Celebs Go Dating is the door is always open.

“You never know, if they want to come on this year there’s still time. If they want to come on in a future series, they are all very welcome.”

Katie’s rep confirmed: “Katie loves the show and has been approached.”

However, E4 deny that Katie – who has previously filmed but never made it onscreen for the show – has been approached to take part in the upcoming series.

Singer Max George was set to star but turned it down after getting together with new love Maisie Smith.

“If things could have been sorted and the stars had aligned, I think Max could have been a brilliant addition to the show,” Anna added.

Stars entering the dating agency for the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating include Sinitta, Love Islanders Liam Reardon and Laura Anderson, actor Gary Lucy and Towie’s Pete Wicks – his third attempt to find love on the show.

But Anna’s dream would be to sign up one right-royal star. “I would love Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York,” she says.

“She would be fascinating. We could unpack everything – the obvious ex-relationship – so I’m sticking it out there.”

Anyone – royals included – who is struggling with romantic issues could check out Anna’s new platform The Relationship Place.

She set it up after being deluged with requests for help on everything from communication to commitment, parenting to parting ways.

Anna says: “It’s essentially bringing coaching and therapy for couples and individuals to the masses.”

And according to the Celebs Go Dating star, viewers should brace themselves for a lot of “willy chat”.

One Night Stand, which launches on E4 tomorrow, sees brave participants reunited after their single date to see if there could be anything more serious.

But Anna says: “There’s a lot of willy chat and it does make for some very amusing telly.

“One of my favourite bits is when one of the girls says, ‘All I can remember is you had a massive penis’.

“I think that just sets the tone for the whole show.

“Out of all the feedback you can have in life, I’d imagine a guy would be pretty OK with that, especially on national telly.”
