Come Into My Life singer Joyce Sims has passed away aged 63.
The news of the singer’s passing was announced on social media by CJ Carlos, who worked at Chelsea Football Club, who said she died on Saturday (October 15).
Joyce’s cause of death is yet to be revealed.

Bursting onto the R&B music scene in the 1980s, the American star achieved her first hit the charts in 1986 with the hit All and All.
She gained worldwide recognition after the release of the 1987 song Come Into My Life, which later became her signature song and reached the top 10 on both the US Billboard R&B Chart and the UK Singles Chart
Joyce was an extremely gifted songwriter and pianist, writing most of her own hits and releasing several more tracks in the following years, Lifetime Love, Walk Away and Looking for a Love.
The soul star was sampled by several music icons during her career, including jazz vocalist Randy Crawford, rapper Snoop Dogg and R&B singer Angie Stone.
Her music was also extended to films as she wrote and performed the tracks played on 1995’s Species.
While the hits slowed down by the end of the 90s, she continued working regularly and found large support in Europe, even performing as recently as August this year in London.
Tributes have already begun flooding social media as the world mourns the one of a kind star who’s career extended more then three decades.
Soul Tracks penned: “We are devastated to pass on the news of the death of R&B music great Joyce Sims at age 63. A great talent who sang, wrote and played for us for more than three decades.”
A super fan recalled meeting Joyce as she shared her sadness at the news on social media, writing: “Remembering Singer #JoyceSims. In the 80’s she had the dance hits #AllInAll, #ComeIntoMy Life. She was a very nice Woman. I will never forget meeting her, she got a kick of how excited I was. I was a super fan!”
Another penned: “Shocked to hear about the passing of Joyce Sims at age 63. It was a privilege to see her perform at #thejazzcafe in London, England on August 29th 2022. R.I.P.”
Jonathan Schecter, co-founder of the music and culture magazine The Source, also paid tribute to the star, calling her “a dazzling vocalist” who was “rooted in soul.”
He said: “Just learned of the passing of the incredible Joyce Sims, the dazzling vocalist whose work with Mantronik stands at the pinnacle of 80s electro: sonically flawless, elegant, futuristic yet rooted in soul. Massive fan of all 3 of the records below. Rest peacefully Ms Sims!”
