Colson played back Tyrone’s “iconic” festive fight with love rival Phil Whittaker (Jamie McKenna).

When watching the clip back, Alan admitted: “Tight wasn’t in the script, I added that.”

Jennie can be seen laughing as they continued to watch the throwback video.

Looking back over the years, Jennie said: “It is lovely to watch some of the early scenes, it is such a long time ago and you forget things that you filmed together.

“It is very funny looking back on some of the hair and fashion choices!” she chuckled.

After taking a brief look back at their two-decade long romance, Colson cheekily tasked the dynamic dup to a Brown vs Dobbs quiz to see if their characters truly are a match made under the mistletoe.

Discussing the competitive Christmas quiz, Alan said: “I was nervous about doing the quiz as Jennie is a quiz fiend and knows so much about the show.

Jennie and Alan spoke to Colson Smith about their time on the street

“You will have to watch to see who comes out on top”, he teased.

Fans will have to wait and see if Fiz and Tyrone get their happy ever after.
