Countryfile viewers could barely focus on the farming because they were so distracted by weatherman Matt Taylor’s appearance.
Matt has often been seen looking smart in a suit when he is on breakfast telly.
But it has become a tradition for whoever is presenting the weather during Countryfile to go a little more casual and wear checked shirts – preferably with rolled up sleeves – and Matt has been known to do so.

However, he went for a rather sedate greenish-grey number for Sunday evening’s instalment of the BBC show, without a check in sight – and it seems some fans were a bit disappointed.
One person had posted a message wondering what Matt would be wearing before he even appeared.
So when he was seen on screen several people took to Twitter to make their feelings known.
“Matt! You’ve let the side down,” one person posted on Twitter.
Another teased that it was an “epic fail”.
“Matt’s wearing a shirt the colour of the sky during the huge thunderstorm we had yesterday,” another viewer tweeted, asking: “Where’s your plaid, Matt?”
One person shared a GIF of someone throwing a desk over in a rage and quipped: “Who the hell does he think he is!!!”
Someone else re-tweeted the clip of the desk and joked: “I pay your wages… Wear a check shirt!!!”
However, Matt did get the thumbs up from some fans who liked his look, despite the fact that he’d gone a different way with his style.
“The lovely Matt Taylor, Nice tight jeans plain grey/green shirt still nice despite lack of check,” one fan tweeted.

However, the viewer said they still couldn’t award the presenter top marks for his attire.
“Open neck but rolled down sleeves so can only give him 7/10,” they added.
Matt has worked as a Met Office meteorologist for almost 25 years and he has been with the BBC weather team since 2004.
