Danniella Westbrook has called for people to “stop the violence” after she shared a video of her friend’s goddaughter being violently assaulted.
The former EastEnders actress, 48, posted the video to Instagram in an effort to speak out against bullying and said that the incident made her feel “physically sick”.
Danniella reported that she broke down in tears while watching the clip, especially knowing that the attack was unprovoked.
She said: “I just wanted to jump on quickly, if you have seen my last Instagram Story. There was a little girl yesterday who got brutally beaten up in Loughton High Street.
“Nobody stopped to help her – one little girl on her own and people videoing it. Everyone was beating her up.
“It’s actually really really upset me. It was my friend’s little goddaughter who has been beaten up, so anyone who knows anything about it, please share it.
“Let’s get some justice for this little girl. Please… I am begging you. Please share it. Let’s stop bullying everywhere across the country.”
She captioned the clip: “On Sunday a little girl was brutally set about and violently beaten in LOUGHTON high rd in Essex. This is my friends god daughter.

“I know there are always two sides to every story but two on to one is not a fair fight. It’s blatant bullying.
“Someone somewhere knows these girls, if that someone is you do the right thing and put a stop to violence in children and violence and bullying in general.”
It comes after the former EastEnders star admitted she was engaged to her 28-year-old boyfriend David, who is currently serving time in prison for counterfeit goods and engaging in a “fight with someone”.
She flashed a glimpse of her engagement ring amid rumours that she had split with him.
