A decade ago the nation celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee anniversary in June 2012.
Along with members of the royal family going on tours across the Commonwealth throughout the year to mark the anniversary, the main event took place in front of Buckingham Palace on June 4.
An incredible lineup of musical stars from a range of different genres came together to celebrate The Queen’s 60-year reign for one spectacular show.
It was staged in the surroundings of the Queen Victoria Memorial and was attended by Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family.
The concert, which was broadcast live on BBC One, saw names such as Shirley Bassey, Alfie Boe, Jools Holland, Jessie J, Elton John and Tom Jones take to the stage.
Although the special Diamond Jubilee concert featured incredible talent from well-known musicians, there were also some pretty unforgettable looks.
Kylie Minogue
Performing a selection of her most popular songs, Australian superstar Kylie Minogue had the crowd singing along.
Putting her own twist on a traditional Pearly Queen playsuit, the pop sensation took to the stage in black hotpants and a jacket which were both adorned with pearl buttons.
To top it off, she wore a black military general hat which matched the pearls of her outfit.
During her performance, she took her jacket off to reveal an embellished playsuit underneath.
Although she did change into something slightly more covered up when she introduced the Queen to the performers backstage opting to wear a dramatic white gown
Jessie J
Showing off her bold style and unique style, Jessie J’s look was defiantly a stand out at the Jubilee concert.
The star wore a black and gold geometric gown by Falguni & Shane Peacock which had sheer panels on the top.
Complete with a sexy thigh-high split, the fun dress had vibrant blue feathers along the bottom half of the gown.
She completed the outfit with black boots with gold finishing, gold hoops and wore her hair in a sleeked back ponytail.
Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole sang a cover of Lady Antebellum’s song I Need You Now with Gary Barlow.
Former X Factor judge wore a black strapless gown with a deep sweetheart neckline.
The wet-look sequin dress exploded into a fishtail silhouette at the bottom which transitioned into white.
Cheryl had her hair in a ponytail which showed off her bold chandelier earrings.
Her bold smoky makeup matched the dramatic vibe of the dress and matched Gary’s simple black and white suit.
Grace Jones
One of the most dramatic looks of the entire concert was from singer Grace Jones.
Not only did she wow the crowd away with her vocals but she showed off her hula-hooping skills too.
Stepping onto the stage in a shiny black and red leotard style outfit, she definitely made a statement.
The singer also donned a huge over the top headpiece and long black gloves.
When she started to belt into her 1985 signature tune song Slave To The Rhythm she decided to put on a real show for the audience.
She kept the hoop spinning on her hips throughout the entire song and sang effortlessly.
One word to sum up the outfit and performance? Iconic.
Annie Lennox
The Eurythmics singer took the meaning ‘angelic singer’ to a whole new level when she took to the stage.
Annie sang There Must Be An Angel while wearing a stunning Nicholas Oakwell Fall gown from 2011.
The full-length grey dress was full of striped diamonds throughout and she accompanied the fit with silver metallic sleeves.
Keeping in theme to her song ‘There Must Be An Angel’, Annie entered the stage wearing over the top feathered wings.
