EastEnders star Heather Peace has confessed she and Suki Panesar star Balvinder Sopal completely ignored stage directions during Eve and Suki’s intense sex scene.
Heather has played Eve Unwin since last year, and caught up with Daily Star at the Inside Soap Awards to chat about their lovemaking scene.
She added that Eve and Suki are experiencing a “love story” after Suki’s disastrous advances on Honey Mitchell.

The star gushed: “The leading to the bed, we ignored the stage directions completely. It had to be Suki that takes Eve to the bedroom.
“It just has to be because as a gay woman, if I was sleeping with a woman or something was happening, I would never be the person that would overstep that mark. You have to be given permission.”
Heather was loving where the relationship is going, as she continued: “From the beginning we’ve said it’s a love story. It’s a meeting of souls. It’s a magnetic attraction. They just can’t [stay apart].
“But it’s not salacious and it’s not jumping into bed. It’s beyond that.”
It comes as Heather scooped the Best Newcomer award at the star-studded ceremony for her role as Heather, while EastEnders scooped the gong for Best Soap overall – beating competitors like Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
EastEnders cleaned up at the event, with Jean in Southend winning the Best Showstopper award and Jean Slater actress Gillian Wright being awarded the Best Actress accolade.
Emmerdale came away with an equal number of gongs, as Marlon’s stroke won the Best Storyline award – with Mark and on-screen wife Zoe Henry (Rhona Goskirk) scooped the Best Romance gong.
