EastEnders’ star Clair Norris, who plays Bernadette ‘Bernie’ Taylor on the BBC soap, looked completely unrecognisable in a set of glamorous snaps with some of her pals.
Attending a Great Gatsby-inspired party, the 24-year-old actress looked stunning as she donned a glam outfit.
Clair could be seen rocking a mesh black dress emblazoned with sequins, a string of pearls. a feathered headband and a glam yet understated makeup look.
She looked unrecognisable out of character and away from the soap, where she can usually be seen wearing sweatpants, oversized garments and her classic lilac padded coat.
Clair’s hair was down and in a sleek and straight style, a far cry from her character’s signature hair-do of a scrunched up bun on the top of her head.
Posting the snaps on Instagram, Clair’s fanbase were quick to comment on her stunning appearance away from Albert Square.
One follower penned: “Stunning xxx,” while another said: “@Clair_norris you look gorgeous.”
Someone else then said said: “You all look fabulous.”
While another commented: “Love these pics.”
One fan also asked when the brunette beauty would be returning to Walford – a comment which remains unanswered by Clair.
Viewers and fans of the BBC soap opera will know about Clair’s character’s recent storyline.
She has recently been acting as a surrogate for Rainie Highway and her husband Stuart.
The actress is now taking a break from the BBC soap, but was spotted by some viewers appearing on quiz show The Weakest Link over the festive period.
While appearing on the popular gameshow, the actress left host Romesh Ranganathan and her fellow contestants in hysterics after answering a question in the most hilarious way.
She was asked: “Singer Cheryl and the actress Kate Winslet both gave birth to boys and named them after what animal?”
Clair replied: “A pig,” an answer which left everybody in stitches, because the answer was actually “bear”.
After the hilarious round, Romesh started the conversation by joking: “I am seriously going to start thinking about naming my next kid Pig” as the group erupted into laughter.
In her defence, Clair argued: “I couldn’t focus on the question, I said ‘Bank’ and then that was it,” to which Romesh agreed.
He explained: “You did – you went early and then you said, ‘I think someone would name their kid Pig, and not just Pig – A Pig.”
