But now the soap star is opening up about some of her sustainable secrets as she focusses her new diet.
One meal that the actress shared helped her drop four dress sizes in just four months.
She’s now switched up her routine and is now focused on “healthy foods” to help with her weight loss journey.
One of the meals she previously made was “Pitta bread with a grilled skinless chicken breast, for instance, and lots of greens”.
The actress is focused on “healthy foods” that she said gave her more energy than she had before.
She said: “I found I had so much more energy than when I used to eat junk food.”
She also revealed that her change of weight over the years led her to sign onto compete in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2007.
Letitia revealed on the EastEnders Spinoff show Secrets from the Square: “The main reason I signed up was because [I] wanted to do something about my figure.”
She added: “I was so sick of extreme dieting and my weight yo-yoing.”
The former Grange Hill star also explained that she dipped her toes into various other fad diets such as “The cabbage soup diet, the Atkins and a really disgusting eggs-only diet.”
