EastEnders star Jaz Deol has quit the BBC soap after three years on the show.
The fan-favourite actor – who played the role of businessman Kheerat Panesar in the long-standing show – has officially moved on to new things as his final scene aired during tonight’s episode (November 10).
As the jaw-dropping scenes hit the airwaves, a BBC spokesperson confirmed to The Sun that the actor’s televised exit was permanent.

Confirming the devastating news, they said: “We can confirm that Jaz has left EastEnders and we wish him all the very best for the future.”
During Thursday’s episode, Kheerat made the mind-boggling decision to confess to Ranveer Gulati’s murder in the hopes of saving his mother Suki from a life behind bars.
But when the matriarch learnt about his plans to turn himself in, she slapped him across the face and demanded he abort his crazy plan.
In the emotional scene, she gushed: “You’re not just my son. You’re my heart.
“You’re the reason I get up every morning and the reason I count my blessings every night.
“I need your strength. I need you at my side if I’m going to get through this, so you promise me that this is over.”
However, Kheerat had already made up his mind to confess and summoned his siblings for a meeting where he shared his plan to keep their mother out of prison.
The loving brother made his younger brothers and sisters promise to keep her safe from their dad Nish and Ravi while he lived out the rest of his days in prison.
Viewers watched the TV hunk bid a final farewell to his girlfriend Stacey, as he attempted to bring her around to his wild plan.
He told her: “You’d do the same if it was your mum. I’ve called the police – they’re on their way.
“If my mum goes to prison then my entire family falls apart and I can’t let that happen. I’m just sorry.”
After an emotional farewell with Stacey, Kheerat left the building and told Eve that his mum will need her help before he was surrounded by police.
His loving girlfriend soon rushed beside him as she reassured him that she understood his decision moments before he was driven away to the police station.
Meanwhile across the Square, Suki was being restrained by her abusive ex-husband who prevented her from chasing after her son as he waved goodbye to him in the police car.
