EastEnders' Melissa Suffield dubbed 'beautiful creature' as she sizzles in lingerie

Former EastEnders’ Lucy Beale star Melissa Suffield has stripped off to black lingerie and spoken about “not feeling ashamed” of her body.

Showing off her softness, her stretchmarks and her curves, Melissa, 29, oozed confidence as she posed for an Instagram reel.

Melissa portrayed Ian Beale’s daughter Lucy from 2004 until 2010, but now under the name @the.confidentmama on Instagram, she has built up a following of more than 50,000 since leaving the soap.

Writhing on her bed while touching her body and wearing black lingerie, Melissa admitted that shame “never got her back in her jeans”, “never made her lose weight” and “never made her sign up for the gym”.

In the caption, Melissa posed the question: “Why do you always show your body?” before answering it herself.

“Because I’m not ashamed of it anymore. I have nothing to hide. And why should I?” she replied.

The former soap star, who is a mum of one, went on: “When we shame ourselves into new habits, they don’t stick. We slip back pretty easily, except now we also feel terrible about it. Shame might ‘correct’- but it doesn’t last.”

She urged her followers to make choices that make them feel good and lift them up and make them feel proud.

Melissa added: “Where the hard work is as a result of believing in yourself, rather than betting against yourself. The world won’t always lift you up- but you can always lift yourself.”

Fans of the blonde beauty were quick to comment on the snap, with one writing: “Bloody show it more you gorgeous creature.”
