Emmerdale fans took to Twitter after Emmerdale showed farm animals on air, much to many viewers amazement.
Rhona was shown arriving at Moira’s farm, where she was greeted and asked to take a look at one of her sheep.
Throughout the visit, Rhona continuously received calls from her mother, who was looking after Marlon.
As she stepped into the paddock to take a look at the animal, she received another one and took a moment to answer.
Moira hovered in the background as she spoke to her mum, but Emmerdale fans were distracted by something else.
One fan tweeted: “Actual farm animals on Emmerdale!” and added a GIF of a woman fainting.
Another said: “A bit of farming like the good old days. The way it should be.”
A shocked viewer wrote: “Must ring up David Attenborough to ask what species is on Emmerdale. Haven’t seen these in a while!”
Fans were also bothered by something else in the stable building.
Moira wore a bright blue boiler suit to protect her clothing as she worked, but some viewers thought her squeaky clean ensemble was completely unrealistic.
Not a spot of mud or dirt could be seen on her overalls, with one fan even claiming they could “eat their dinner” off them, while another said they were the “cleanest overalls they’d ever seen on a farm”.
As Rhona left the farm, Moira could be seen shaking her head as she picked up her phone to dial someone else.
Viewers had to wait a few more scenes to see who she had chatted with, but questions were soon answered when Rhona bumped into Paddy.
The loveable Paddy told her he had “just come back from Moira’s” and relayed the bad news.
He said that Moira had called for a “second opinion” and it turned out that the sheep in question was suffering from a nasty infection.
An upset Rhona asked Paddy “how she could have missed that” and he attempted to reassure her by telling her “these things happen”.
Rhona claimed that she had “really messed things up” while Paddy urged her to “stop beating herself up”.
