Eagle-eyed soap fans may recognize Emmerdale’s Saskia from a rival soap role in Coronation Street.

The talented star is currently appearing as Saskia Parks, one of the girls accused of attacking Nicola King.

Emmerdale fans will know Naomi confessed to being present during Nicola’s attack but denies any wrongdoing.

Although she explained she was scared of Saskia, played by Sarah Kay-Sweeney, and the gang who hurt Nicola, the stalwart refused to accept her apology.

Tonight’s episode saw Naomi stunned when Saskia’s barrister argues the defendants were no longer friends with her after a recent altercation.

The barrister accuses Naomi of framing the girls for the attack as an act of revenge.

As Sarah delivers a stellar performance as bully Saskia, fans may recognize her from her role in rival ITV Coronarion Street.

The brunette star appeared as a bully on the soap back in 2015.

Also on tonight’s episode, in court, Naomi runs into Saskia in the toilets, insinuating that Naomi owes her money. Saskia threatens to drag Naomi’s family into this if she doesn’t change her version of events.

The prosecution barrister cross examines a composed Saskia and points out Naomi has implicated herself in a serious crime, appealing to the jury that her client has no motive to lie.

When the defense barrister gives Naomi a hard time in her cross examination, Naomi erupts with upset and outrage as she comes clean about Saskia’s threats.

As the trial comes to an end, the judge addresses the jury urging them to assess the evidence presented to them but it’s clear Nicola’s not optimistic.

Elsewhere in the episode, Manpreet makes a bad situation much worse by trying to manipulate Nicola into speaking favourably about Naomi in court.

Manpreet fears her interaction with Nicola might be the final nail in the coffin for Naomi’s trial.

Chas announces that she’s finally dropped Faith’s ashes off at the factory to become a firework. Having collected Liv’s ashes, Vinny is sat with Chip feeling lost and depressed as he comes to the realisation that Liv is never coming back.

April’s hurt when Cathy’s plan to get her and Arthur together backfires and Arthur bolts from the cafe to do his homework.
