Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt could be set to be killed off in explosive scenes as Cain Dingle’s feud with Al Chapman reaches its peak next week.
Spoilers have confirmed that the pair become engaged in a potentially fatal shootout after a history of kidnapping, fraud and fist-fights.
Next week, Cain finally discovers his sister Chas has been having an affair with Al behind her husband Paddy Kirk’s back – and heads off to confront Al.

As the two men start to fight, they notice a gun lying off to the side, and both rush to grab it. Viewers will hear a gunshot ring out, but it has not yet been confirmed who – if anyone – gets shot.
But now fans are concerned that Kerry will be the one bearing the brunt of the attack.
Taking to Reddit, one user said: “I think this is pretty predictable [to be honest] but here’s what I think will happen…
“Kerry gets shot (actress has just given birth IRL so makes sense to leave) by Al who then either gets jailed for the murder or does a runner? It makes sense to me at least.”
Another user then responded: “Yeah makes sense to me too. I’d probably like this whole feud more if it wasn’t making Cain out to be 10 years younger than he is.
“Seeing him wave around a gun nowadays doesn’t really feel cool I guess. Feel like that’s not him anymore? Or shouldn’t be? Maybe I’m looking at it wrong though.
“Would’ve rather had Aaron fight Al as a proper send off for him.”
Meanwhile, viewers on Twitter were also in on the action as one predicted: “I hope it’s Chas that goes but it’s going to be Kerry that gets shot!”
As another followed up: “She’s just had her baby in real life so she must be going out soon.”

“I don’t want it to be Kerry but she’s not had a good storyline for ages!” someone else moaned.
It comes amid reports that Al actor Michael Wildman has quit Emmerdale.
A source told The Sun: “Michael has really enjoyed his time at Emmerdale but it’s the right thing to move on.
“He’s had some massive storylines but all good things must come to an end.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7:30pm on ITV.
