Fun House twins unrecognisable as they reunite with ITV host Pat Sharp after 20 years

Pat Sharp and the Fun House twins have reunited in an amazing snap.

The mulleted legend and the blonde twosome starred in the beloved kids’ programme from 1989 to 1999 and it was every school child’s dream to take part in the messy, bonkers game show.

Pat was the host and the twins, Melanie and Martina Grant, played a pair of cheerleaders who were in charge of supporting each team – the red and yellow.

So when Pat, 60, posted a picture of the three of them in a park beaming their heads off some 23 years after the show finished, fans could not get enough.

Pat looked youthful and the twins, who reportedly live in Ramsgate in Kent, looked similarly fresh-faced as they posed up a storm.

He captioned the snap: “Fun House twins alert!”

One fan tweeted: “By far my favourite show as a kid, gutted I never got on it and now I’m way too old if it did make a comeback.”

Another tweeted: “My childhood right here..now this is a show they should bring back, children’s afterschool and Saturday morning tv is just not the same anymore for my kids.”

Pat, now, 60, was also known for his glorious mullet

Since Fun House Pat has featured on a number of reality and quiz shows including Come Dine With Me, I’m a Celebrity, Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Back in the 80s, Pat was a highly successful DJ starring on shows such as Top of the Pops and presenting BBC Radio 1.

Meanwhile, the twins, now 50, have also enjoyed a career in acting with guest appearances in The Bill, From the Top and even the 1989 Batman movie.
