Singer Gary Barlow has shared an incredible throwback snap as he pays tribute to his wife Dawn on their 22nd wedding anniversary.
The 50-year-old posted the snap of the day the couple first met on his Instagram alongside a more recent photo.
Gary can be seen in the middle of two dancers in the old school snap – not knowing one of them would later turn out to be his future wife.
The Take That singer captioned the post: “Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary Mrs.B.
“Well what a time we’ve had. So many adventures. 4 beautiful children. Here’s to the next 22 and beyond.
“Check out the pics of the day we first met – 1988 !!! Shocking!!!,” followed by several red heart emojis.
Gary and Dawn met on a pre-Take That photoshoot and video before meeting again in 1992 while rehearsing for the Children’s Royal Variety Performance.
Dawn later accompanied Take That as a backup dancer on the European leg of their tour where the couple finally got together.
Jason Orange hired Gary’s future wife, not realising that she’d previously met him.
The couple made their first public appearance at the 1996 Brit Awards.
Gary later admitted: “I was completely besotted straight away.”
The couple married in 2000 and share three children together, Daniel, 21, Emily, 19 and 12-year-old Daisy.
The singer and his wife lost their fourth child, Poppy, during birth in 2012.
Gary faced a difficult time in 2000 when he was dropped by his record label.
He told Event Magazine: “I remember waking up one morning and I was enormous.
“I was a mess and I thought, I am not the man she married. It was Dawn who got me to go to the doctor and it was because of Dawn that I went.”
