Geordie Shore star Ant Kennedy's jaw broken in three places after brutal Ibiza attack

Geordie Shore’s Ant Kennedy’s jaw has been broken in three places after a brutal unprovoked attack in Ibiza, with the star now worried for his TV career.

The 28-year-old was attacked while enjoying the first night of his holiday at the Linekers sports bar in San Antonio.

Taking to social media to break the news to his fans, followers and friends, he uploaded a video where his face could be seen looking ultra swollen and covered in blood.

Writing alongside the video due to being unable to speak he said: “Hurts to speak so I thought I’d type this instead!”

He went on to reveal: “I was attacked by a man and his friend in Lineker sports bar in San Antonio Ibiza!

“Shout out to the manager there he was super helpful.

“This was a completely unprovoked attack I was simply dancing on a night out enjoying the first night of my holiday.

“So anyone asking if I have been fighting the answer is no, no I wasn’t fighting, I was brutally attacked!”

He then explained how his trip to Ibiza came about because he wanted to “get away, relax and have fun” before adding: “But instead I’ve had my jaw broken in three places both upper and lower, wires put in to keep my mouth shut, I have a numb face due to nerve damage from the punches!”

Ant then added how he is unsure as to whether or not the feeling will come back, and that he’s looking at around four to six months recovery time for his jaw.

The star opened up about the brutal attack

He revealed: “I also need rehabilitation as the upper part of my jaw can not be fixed with surgery due to its location.

“As for the time it’s going to take to recover mentally… I’m not sure, but Im trying to stay optimistic!”

The biggest thing that he’s scared of is the nerve damage because he can’t feel his face due to the “nerves being in a bad way”.

The attack took place on the first night of his holiday in Spain

“When I sit and think about how this is going to effect my career, TV work and how it could effect my future… What if the feeling in my face doesn’t come back? It does get a bit much and I’m overwhelmed with emotion but I’m trying to stay positive,” he said.

The Geordie Shore star concluded: “Not much left to say really other than a warning to anyone going on holiday with their mates in the future! Be careful out there the world can be a cruel place.”

His celeb pals were quick to comment on the moving and graphic video.

Former X Factor and current Geordie Shore star Amelia Lily said: “Sending you so much love my big brother. You are the nicest guy and did not deserve this at all. Love you so much Ant xxxx.”

Charlotte Crosby, who recently announced her pregnancy, said: “You got this Ant.”

Kyle Christie added: “Hope you’re okay brother.”

Chloe Ferry penned: “Could cry for you.”

And TOWIE’s Charlie King said: “Oh mate – so sorry to read this. Sending all the healing wishes possible.”
