Gogglebox star Tom Malone has been praised by fans after sharing a heartfelt cancer message.
The Malones are one of the most popular families on the Channel 4 reality show after they joined back in 2014.
Although the show is currently on a break from filming until later on this year, the family are keeping themselves busy by risking their lives – all for a good cause.
They aren’t just kicking back and relaxing during their time away from the show as they’ve revealed that this month they’ll be taking part in an abseil.
The abseil is to help raise money for lung cancer sufferers and they’ve taken to social media to ask their followers for support.
In a video uploaded on Friday, Julie said to the camera: “Try and guess what I’ve got him doing… What have I got you doing Tom?”
Tom then explained that he will be taking part in an abseil later this month, in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Tom then said: “It’s a bit high but sometimes we need a bit of help with heights don’t we? I’m only a short a**e.”
Julie then said: “You are”.
The Gogglebox stars then informed their 213k followers that the link was in their bio and to donate if they could.
Tom then told their fans to come down and say hello when he does the abseil which they revealed would be at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
In another video, Tom joked that people who come down should encourage Julie to also abseil with him, before thanking those who have already donated as he said it was “much appreciated.”
So far, their Just Giving page has £732 and it wasn’t long before fans showed their support for Tom.
One fan wrote: “Amazing, good luck”
Someone else added: “I’ve done that! Will be amazing”.
Another person who donated wrote: “Good luck Tom. No doubt at all that you’ll smash it for such a worthy cause.”
A fourth fan said: “So Amazing Tom!!! Well done “
Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 this Autumn.
