The actor, who played Zammo in the beloved BBC children’s drama, revealed the news on his Twitter account as he shared a beautiful snap of himself and wife Jess on their wedding day.

Lee looked dapper in a grey suit with a pink shirt, while Jess looked radiant in a fishtail lace wedding gown and matching lace veil.
Sharing the happy news, the actor tweeted alongside the snap: ‘Finally got hitched xxx,” followed by a series of love hearts.
The couple were originally due to be married in March 2020, but like many couples, they were forced to postpone their nuptials due to the pandemic.
Lee’s son H was also his best man on the day, with the star also sharing a heartwarming snap of them both in their suits.
The actor paid tribute to his son in a tweet, saying: “I’m so proud of my boy ‘H’! He did an amazing job as my best man x”
Lee rose to fame as schoolboy Zammo in Grange Hill during the eighties, alongside EastEnders Mark Fowler icon Todd Carty as Tucker.
During his time on the programme, Lee’s character Zammo was at the centre of a hard-hitting drugs storyline, with the actor and his fellow cast members becoming involved in a number of anti-drug campaigns encouraging young people to “Just say no.”
The series, which ran from 1978 to 2008, was created by Brookside and Hollyoaks’ Sir Phil Redmond, who recently announced that the series was being brought back as a film.
Speaking about the film, Zammo actor Lee, who has since appeared in The Bill and Birds Of A Feather, told the BBC that he “would love to do it.”
Sir Phil also echoed these sentiments during an interview with the BBC, saying: “he has not been short of offers from his other acting friends.”
“I’ve also got all the old Brookie crew and Hollyoaks gang saying they’d love to be in it,” he said.
