13 years ago He’s Just Not That Into You debuted at the box office and was an instant hit among hopeless romantics.
With a star-studded cast full of A-lister celebrities and Hollywood favourites, the movie was a complete success and is still loved by the masses in 2022.

The movie was released on February 6, 2009 – just in time for Valentine’s Day, also known as the most romantic (or lonely) day of the year – hence why it has always remained the perfect rom-com for this time of the year.
He’s Just Not That Into You is actually based on the 2004 bestselling self-help book, and ended up enlisting a cast for the movie choc-full of big names, with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johansson.
13 years on, we thought it would be fitting to look back at the cast to see where they are now and what they’ve been getting up to since the movie debuted in the cinema.
Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston was already a hit in the world of Hollywood, so fans were overjoyed when she popped up in the romantic-comedy.
In the movie she plays Beth, who’s in a long-term relationship with Neil – who doesn’t want to get married.
Since starring in this box office smash-hit, Jennifer has starred in an array of movies like Horrible Bosses and We’re The Millers.
In 2019, Jennifer started starring in The Morning Show as Alex Levy. The show is an Apple TV+ series and has even seen the actress nominated for awards like Golden Globes and Emmys.

2021 saw Jennifer return to her roots when she popped up in the Friends Reunion on HBO Max.
Her love life off-screen has been pretty well-documented and saw Jen have a public divorce from Brad Pitt before marrying Justin Theroux in 2015 and splitting in 2017.
In 2021, after the Friends Reunion show, rumours were spiralling around Jen and co-star David Schwimmer.
Jennifer is reported to have a whopping net worth of $300m (£221m) after a successful movie career and raking in the royalties from her famous role on Friends.
Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer starred as Gigi in the popular rom-com, and was completely unlucky when it came to love before falling head-over-heels.
You probably know her from starring in Something Borrowed in 2011, or playing Snow White in the ABC series One Upon A Time.
She’s also done voice-overs for Disney too, so her voice might be familiar – especially if you’ve seen Zootopia.
While starring in Once Upon A Time, Ginnifer met Josh Dallas and the pair hit it off. They started dating in 2011 before getting hitched in 2014 and having two children together.
Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck played Neil in romantic-comedy, and was in a relationship with Beth. He was opposed to the idea of marriage at first, as the film progresses he comes around and pops the question.
In 2010, a year after starring in the hit romantic-comedy movie, Ben co-wrote, directed and starred in the movie, The Town, before directing and starring in Argo.
In more recent years the Hollywood heartthrob is best known for starring in Gone Girl and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
When the romantic-comedy came out in 2009, Ben was married to Jennifer Garner, but they split in 2018. They have three children together.

Ben has admitted to struggling with alcohol abuse over the years, and sparked backlash when he told Howard Stern that he would “still be drinking” if he were still married to Garner.
He said: “I’d probably still be drinking. It’s part of why I started drinking…because I was trapped.
“I can’t leave ’cause of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.”
The actor is now dating Jennifer Lopez and have been dubbed as ‘Bennifer’, after dating in the early Noughties, before rekindling their romance in 2021.
Bradley Cooper

In the 2009 rom-com, Bradley Cooper played the role of Ben, a married man who ends up having an affair with Anna.
Although known in the world of Hollywood, Bradley’s career really took off in the year that this movie was released, and in the same year he starred in The Hangover.
After starring in the comedic blockbuster, Bradley reprised his role another two time for the movies that followed it.
Starring alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley was a hit in both Silver Linings Playbook, a 2012 hit, and American Hustle.

You may also recognise Bradley from A Star Is Born, the 2018 remake where he starred alongside Lady Gaga. This movie saw the actor direct, co-write and produce the movie.
A Star Is Born ended up getting eight Oscar nominations and won Best Original Song.
Since starring in He’s Just Not That Into You, Bradley’s love life has seen him get into relationships with Zoe Saldana and Suki Waterhouse before dating Irina Shayk and having a baby girl in 2017. But Bradley and Irina sadly split in 2019.
Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett played Anna in the romantic-comedy – the woman who falls in love with Ben, a married man. They embark on an affair before Anna ends it after hearing Ben and his wife having sex.
The actress is best known for playing Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but has also starred in Jojo Rabbit and Marriage Story.
In 2008 Scarlett was married to Ryan Reynolds, but the pair split in 2011. She then got with Romain Dauriac and had a daughter with him, before marrying Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost in 2020.
Justin Long

Justin Long portrayed the role of Alex, the one who ends up falling for Gigi after giving her some dating advice.
Best known for his roles in horror movies, Justin has starred in the likes of Jeepers Creepers, Drag Me To Hell and After Life, but has popped up in many a blockbuster too.
You might have seen him in Die Hard 4.0, Going The Distance and Tusk, or you might have heard him in Alvin and the Chipmunks or Netflix’s animated series F is for Family.
Drew Barrymore

A complete hopeless romantic, Drew Barrymore’s character Mary finds love by the time the film comes to a close.
Already a hit in the world of romantic-comedy movies, Drew had already popped up in the likes of 50 First Dates, Never Been Kissed and Riding In Cars With Boys.
After He’s Just Not That Into You, Drew has starred in Going The Distance, Miss You Already and Blended.
In 2017 she started starring in Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet, which concluded in 2019, but has headed up her own chat show since 2020 – The Drew Barrymore Show.

In 2021 Drew opened up about her battle with mental health and alcohol abuse on CBS Mornings, where she that she has now been sober for more than two years after she realised that she was fine without alcohol as it no longer “served her”.
The 46-year-old star spoke of how she feels strong and capable of change: “I just wanted to go about this with no profession, no public anything,” Drew said while appearing on the programme.
“And now it’s been long enough where I’m in a lifestyle which I know is really working on a high road for my little journey. There’s so much peace finally being had where there were demons.”
