Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby has admitted she smuggled booze into the show in her children’s hot water bottle.
The presenter claims that since there was no wrap party last year due to COVID restrictions, she livened things up backstage herself during the series finale.
Holly – who fronts the ITV show with Phillip Schofield – said: “Nobody could see what was inside it and I filled them up with gin and tonics.
“One for Phil and one for me. And in the last ad break before the end, I was like ‘We can bring out the gin now’. After the last series we needed it!”
The show is back on Sunday with Strictly’s Oti Mabuse taking over from John Barrowman as a judge.
Phillip Schofield went on to reveal that he believes his TV ice show is tougher than BBC ballroom series Strictly Come Dancing.
He said:”I love Strictly but compared to the skills required for Dancing on Ice it’s a walk in the park because you have the possibility of real danger, real injury.”
The line-up includes sexy Liberty Poole who said of the gruelling training: “I’ll have a better bikini body than I did on Love Island.”
The other celebrity skaters are Corrie’s Sally Dynevor, Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Paralympian Stef Reid, rugby star Ben Foden, Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Paul Gascoigne’s son and dancer Regan Gascoigne, pop star Rachel Stevens, professional dancer Brendan Cole, presenter Ria Hebden, BMX Olympic silver medalist Kye Whyte and The Vamps’ Connor Ball.
Olympians Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are also back.
The duo will be back as judges for the new series, so if they catch coronavirus it will cause major problems.
And there are fears an outbreak on set will force it to be scrapped altogether.
Christopher, 63, said: “We will be limiting our social contact. There is no going out to restaurants. We’ll be staying at home and cooking at home.

“The rules on the show this year will be tight. We will have all the same protocols we had last year and potentially even more.
“And everybody will be adhering to the guidelines very strictly because it’s important.
Nobody wants to jeopardise the show, so everybody will do their best to stay healthy and safe.”
Last year’s series was thrown into chaos when two celebrity contestants were forced to quit due to coronavirus.
